Fred machoka is one of the most celebrated Radio and tv personalities in Kenya.
He is a veteran journalist with experience of over 30 years in the media industry.
He currently hosts Roga Roga shows which run on citizen Radio and citizen tv every Saturday morning and afternoon.

Nestled in the serene escarpment of Kisaju in Kajiado County is an out-of-town cowboy and Wild West-themed family getaway. It specialises in barbecue cuisines and boasts activities like horse riding, quad biking, picnicking, farm tours and a vibrant children’s playground.
It's a family business run by his son Victor machoka nicknamed the sheriff because of his dressing style.
Career
Career, Fred obachi machoka entered the media industry by sheer luck.The year was 1975. A youthful Fred was serving in the Northern Frontier as a General Service Unit (GSU) soldier and loved listening to radio. It was while listening to radio at one time that he heard of a competition branded “SANYO Juu SANYO talks”and decided to try his luck.
He won the competition and the producer told him his voice belonged to the Radio. At that time he was still serving at the forces as signal controller. he later resigned to take the media job.
He started out in KBC where he promoted products before moving starting his own Radio in 1988 fm 35 meaning Fred machoka at 35.His popularity rose and he is ranked one if the best radio presenters of our generation.
FAMILY: Wife and children
Machoka is a married man to Sophie machoka and they are blessed with children.
Machoka rarely shows his family in public limelight but Obachi’s wife, Sophie Machoka said in a past interview that he balances well his media life and family life.Obachi and Sophie have four grown up children, and two grandchildren.
Net worth
Machoka is believed to be a millionaire owing to his vast business investment and long media business .
