Nairobi residents to use this service for for free sonko declares

Mike Sonko has fulfilled one of his campaign pledges where he said that all Nairobians will will use public services for free.
He has now scrapped fees on all public toilets within cbd where kenyans were being charged 10 Bob.

Governor Mike Sonko issued the directive today even as the administration stands to lose Sh6.2 million in revenue from levies charged to use the facilities.
"City residents should not be charged to use public toilets. It is unfair to charge voters of Nairobi to use a public facility...From today all toilets within the city will be free," said Governor Sonko.

There are 68 public toilets in Nairobi with 17 of these in the CBD. My

Nairobi Governor had come under heavy scrutiny in his first term in office and it seems he is picking up really fast.
He has managed the rising number of hawkers in Nairobi CBD and has also managed crime rate in the CBD.
Nairobi Is now more cleaner than before.
