Former cabinet member Escapes assassination attempt after being shot in the head

A former cabinet member has escaped an assassination attempt after being shot in the ahead by gunmen in close range.
The former finance cabinet minister for Garissa county escaped the assassination attempt and was rushed to hospital.

Idris Aden Mukhtar who was finance cabinet minister for Garissa county before 2017 Elections, was shot in the head outside a hotel in kileleshwa.

According to police reports, this was an assassination attempt since the 3 gunmen who were in a motor bike never stole anything.
Idris Aden Mukhtar  is currently receiving treatment.
