There has been talk about a looming cabinet reshuffle which will shake the political landscape of kenya and shape the 2022 succession politics.

Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed speculations that President Uhuru Kenyatta is planning to reshuffle the Cabinet in order to accommodate Opposition leader Raila Odinga in a government of national unity.
Ruto maintained that the handshake between president Uhuru Kenyatta and his political rival Raila odinga was only for political stability and not sharing of government.
"For all those who are collaborating with the government, they should know they are coming to collaborate with us on matters that focus on helping Kenyans," the DP was quoted saying on Sunday, August 5, during a public event in Nyeri county by a local media house
Ruto clearly meant that they should come with good faith and not expecting to be nominated to plumb positions but instead they should come with a focus of helping Kenyans.
