Breaking: Former Nairobi town clerk John Gakuo is dead just 3 months after being sentenced to 3 years over corruption

Former Nairobi Town Clerk John Gakuo has passed on at a Nairobi hospital.

Gakuo has been serving a three-year jail term since May over Sh283m cemetery land scam.

Gakuo was sentence in May together with others who were also fined alot of money over the corruption charges.

Gakuo had moved to supreme Court to appeal the sentence and it is sad he died before the case was heard.
