Jacque maribe who is staring at life sentence has hinted that jowie Irungu might be involved in the murder of Monica kimani as he came home crying that night.
Maribe had refuted claims that they met with Jowie on February and caught engaged on June.
According to daily nation, Maribe released the following affidavit
Joseph Kuria Irungu alias Jowie is my fiancé whom we got engaged in the month of June 2018.
The first time I met Jowie was in mid 2017 at a Jubilee Party function at Bomas of Kenya, and later at Kasarani, also in a Jubilee Party function
At the time he used to work as VIP security (guard) for Madam Joyce Lay, the former Taita Taveta Woman Representative. He was residing in Buru Buru Phase III together with his two friends. Apart from the VIP security job, he was also working for a private military firm in Dubai.
It is understood that they kept in touch and dated immediately after the election. After election jowie was jobless after madam Joyce lay lost her seat.
Jowie Moved in with maribe in her six bedroom house in langata.
They dated for less than 1 year in which Jowie immediately proposed to her on June and they moved to her apartment, Jowei moved their permanently after the proposal until the night of Monica murder.
