Obado arrested immediately after leaving Rutos event,Here is more details

Governor Okoth Obado has been arrested for questioning over guns found in his house.
Obado was picked up while leaving Hilton Hotel, where he was attending a meeting with Deputy President William Ruto and diplomats.
Ruto today had held a meeting at Hilton hotel , Governor's,CS and ambassador's all attended.
It is immediately after the event that obado was arrested.
Obado will be arraigned in court tomorrow with fresh charges including illegal possession of firearms ,corruption and abuse of public office.
Obado is viewed as Rutos point man in luo nyanza, obado is very popular in the region especially migori county where he comes from.
Obado had vowed just few days ago that he will work with deputy president Ruto to towards development of the county ahead of 2022.
