Nasa leader Uhuru kenyatta had received an heroic welcome to Kisumu.
Uhuru kenyatta was welcomed to Kisumu by Nasa leader Raila Odinga.
It is the first time the president is visiting the region after the very much contested election.
Uhuru kenyatta visit comes after Uhuru kenyatta and Raila Odinga famous handshake in March 9 which brought peace and tranquility to the country.
Other leaders who also present in the region include deputy president William Ruto and Nasa Co principal Kalonzo Musyoka
