Full uhuru kenyatta speech in sagana 3:Translated from Kikuyu to English

These are some of the Punches & Fireworks from president Uhuru Kenyatta at Sagana state lounge.

-A lot has been said about me but I have been choosing to stay silent but will keep telling you for the truth.

-Someone who thinks the party (Jubilee) is finished is dreaming. I will call someone to tell us where the Jubilee Party has been and what it has been doing.

-I decided to look for that man (Raila). We had talks and discussions and thus the handshake, together with my Deputy. We cannot be waking up each morning to fight each other I told him. Don't we have peace?

-I KEPT Ruto briefed on the pending handshake prior. Even as I was going to Harambee Hse to meet Raila, the DP was the last man I spoke to and he was in agreement. I told him and lam not a hypocrite. I never dismissed anyone from work after handshake. He didn't join government but peace was restored. Where did I go wrong?

-I am working with RAILA not because I want him to be the president, but I work with him because we need the unity and a great future of this country. I used to insult him, I will not lie but when I am wrong I apologise.

-I gave Ruto 50% of government in 2013 and I did not demand for more than 50% even though I contributed more votes than he did.

-I told William Ruto that the time for campaigns would come but there was a time for everything and that time was time to work because work changes livelihoods but never listened.

-Church leaders STOP lying to our people because you have received STOLEN money from Ruto! Money that was meant to construct Arror & Kimwarer dam to give the children of God water!

-Those who destroyed your livelihoods in tea and coffee are the ones who are telling you that you are hustlers.

-The youth should remember where we have come from and I am telling you this because I love you. Everyone wants more and that is normal but also remember how far we have come. We need decent jobs not wheelbarrows.

-An old man on a stool sees further than a boy on a tree. Let me stick with the old man (Raila) who I can talk with.

This is the CLIMAX of the Sagana Declaration:

Let us SUPPORT Raila Odinga. If WilliamsRuto behaves/ changes to right behaviours, I can support him in future elections but not in this one. President Uhuru Kenyatta
