Former president Barrack Obama is set to visit kenya mid next month to attend a vocational training center in siaya county.
Obama was expected to be accompanied by media mogul Oprah Winfrey and African richest person Dangote.
The good news is that barrack Obama will still be coming but the bad news is that Oprah Winfrey will not be accompanying him and Dangote has not be confirmed to be among the delegations which will accompany them.
Here is message from Obama spokes person to CNN.
"But it's not accurate that Oprah will go (Just want to be clear on that, since it's been a widely circulated rumor.)," an email from Obama's spokesperson read in part.
The Spokesperson also stated that she wasn't sure about the attendees on the trip and since Obama is now a private citizen, such information was not going to be shared.
Obama is a private citizen and his list of those who will attend with Obama is still unknown.
Obama will visit Kenya from July 15-16, where he'll attend the inauguration of a youth sports center founded by his sister,
Auma Obama.
The vocational center in Siaya County was opened to provide educational and economic opportunities to help young people serve their communities, and shares a similar mission as the former President's Obama Foundation
