Revealed:4 Cabinet secretaries who might be sacked

Anxiety has gripped the Cabinet after reports emerged that President Uhuru Kenyatta is planning to make changes in his Cabinet to ensure the success of his Big Four priority areas and the fight against corruption.

Sources highly placed within State House indicate that at least four Cabinet Secretaries could be sacked by Uhuru, especially those whose Ministries have been dogged by corruption, while others may be transferred in the reshuffle.

“The President might change his Cabinet anytime.”
“He is determined to deliver on the pledges he made to Kenyans during his campaigns last year.”
“There are CSs who might not survive the onslaught.”
“Those who were left out in the mini-Cabinet last year might be affected,” disclosed a close confidant of the President.

This comes even as it emerged that some CSs were contemplating quitting over corruption allegations while some are just overwhelmed by work.
“The President gave them a second chance.”
“However, not much has happened to help him in his reform agenda and now hard decisions must be made,” said another ally of the President.

Among the CSs who may be sacked by Uhuru over corruption include National Treasury CS, Henry Rotich, Interior CS, Fred Matiangi, Agriculture CS, Mwangi Kiunjuri, Roads and Infrastructure CS, James Macharia, Education CS, Amina Mohammed, Energy CS, Charles Keter, Petroleum and Mining CS, Peter Munyes and Sports CS Rashid Achesa.
