The president was heading to Rongai for the funeral of Sarah Kasaon, wife to former Deputy Chief of Defence Forces Lt. Gen Joseph Kasaon.
The home of Lt Gen Joseph Kasaon is just adjacent to former president Daniel Moi kabarak home and understandable why he visited Moi on his way to funeral of Sarah Kasaon.
