Jacque maribe murder case has taken a new twist.
She will be charged with murder according to the directorate of criminal investigations.
According to DCI Jacque maribe knowingly participated in murder thus she will be charged with being an accessory to murder.
Section 222 of the Penal Code Accessory to murder states that any person who becomes an accessory after the fact to murder is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for life.
The only charge maribe will receive is life imprisonment according to section 22 of the penal code if convicted.
Maribe charge is very strong as she burned clothes used to kill Monica kimani while trying to cover up for her fiance.
She also tried to create an alibi for him saying that they were together the night of Murder and that he was shot by thugs.
Maribe will appear in court on Tuesday to face murder charges.
